CVMP 2017 Best Paper Award to V-SENSE researcher Mairéad Grogan!

We are very proud to announce and offer our congratulations to our colleagues Dr. Mairéad Grogan and Professor Smolic for winning the Best Paper Award at CVMP 2017! CVMP 2017 took place from the 11th – 12th December 2017, hosted by the British Film Institute (BFI), London.
For over a decade CVMP has built a reputation as the prime venue for researchers to meet with practitioners in the Creative Industries: film, broadcast, games. The conference brings together expertise in video processing, computer vision, computer graphics, animation and physical simulation. It provides a forum for presentation of the latest research and application advances, combined with keynote and invited talks on state-of-the-art industry practice.

Keynotes were presented by Hao Li from the University of Southern California, Will Smith from the University of York, Taku Komura from the University of Edinburgh, and Jamie Shotton from Microsoft Research.
