vsenseVVAR | V-SENSE Volumetric Video in Augmented Reality Database
26th November 2021Volumetric video allows real-world content to be captured and represented as 3D models, which can be viewed from any chosen viewpoint and direction. Thus, it is ideal to be used in augmented reality (AR) or virtual reality (VR) applications.
As part of our paper titled “User behaviour analysis of volumetric video in augmented reality“, we release a database as described below. If you use this publicly available dataset, please cite our paper in your publication as indicated below.
For more information, you can check the research webpage: [User Behaviour Analysis of Volumetric Video].
DATABASE DETAILS
The database contains:
- The logs of users’ behaviours while using the AR app, in the format of device location and device (i.e., camera) rotation with their timestamps, for 20 participants, and
- Matlab scripts to parse the log files, rotate the axis with respect to the device rotation, and process the user movement data, which is used for creating the figures in the QoMEX paper.
